Habari
[THIS IS JUST A PLACE HOLDER - I AM STILL WRITING THE PAGE]
Heck – this is one of the first page dedicated to Habari support / info on the internet. Cut me a little slack please.
Habari Resources
Table of Contents.
[IN HERE]
Habari is just getting started and many of the usual malarkey of web sites, forums and downloads just do not exist – yet. But we are working on it.
It is all beginning to happen at Google. This is the place for keeping up with the news, following the development, and downloading from the svn. If you are not upto speed on svn dont worry. A zipped download is scheduled for release January 31 2007.
Commentary
The usual pithy punditry can be greatly enjoyed at
The following are the dev team for Habari
- Chris Davis at Sillyness Spelled Wrong Intentionally
- Scott Merrill at Skippy dot net
Owen Winkler
etc
The next echelon of supporting devs are:
- Khaled atBrokenkode
Some early adopters
- Pro Blogger Dave CubedDave Cubed Habari
Technical Specification
PHP 5
Other fancy stuff
Download
svn only at the moment. See the Google site.
Installation
Issues on the login evident in some circumstances. Watch this space.
Documentation
Other than the Google Habari there are none as yet.
Themes
At the monent in the svn it has K2 fitted. There is as yet no determination of
the theme arrangements generally or the default theme.
My wish List:
Speed. Speed. Speed.
That’s it.
Modular development
Sensible WYSIWYG
I want to be able to disable every thing I don’t like.
Branching (linked to modular dev – see above)
A passionate (obsessive) commitment to web standards.
Superb theme arrangements.
A really fast admin interface.
Inline docs for admin.
